Ah, fruit cakes. A classic dessert that comes to mind when it comes to the Christmas season. Made with mixed dried fruits soaked in tea (swap it out for alcohol if you'd like!), this recipe produces a fruit cake that's noticeably less dense than the usual. If you've always thought fruit cakes were delicious, but a little too brick-like, this kit's for you!

While fruit cakes are generally less pretty than other cakes, what it lacks in appearance is made up for in flavour.
