Create this classic from scratch, made easy with our baking kit which comes complete with piping bags, parchment rounds, and a star piping tip for you to go wild with the decorations. Be it swirls, rosettes, or zig-zags, this recipe makes you enough frosting for you to get creative!

There’s so much more to red velvet cake than tinting the batter red. The inclusion of buttermilk makes the cake incredibly moist. To further heighten the delish factor, we use a combination of quality butter and oil for flavour and texture.

The marriage of cocoa powder, vanilla, and fluffy cream cheese frosting gives this masterpiece a perfect balance of sweet and tangy. Top it off with moist, velvety cake crumbs and you have yourself a beautiful classic cake that never fails.

Recommended Storage Time

Dry/Box Ingredients

  • Refer to respective expiry dates given on each ingredient package (minimum of 4 weeks from delivery)
  • Store in a cool, dry area away from direct heat or sunlight. You may store them in the fridge as well.

Cold Ingredients

  • Refer to butter/cream cheese package for expiry date (minimum of 4 weeks from delivery)
  • Store butter in the refrigerator or freezer
  • Store cream cheese in fridge. Do not store in freezer.

Cake layers can be made the day before and stored in the fridge before using (wrapped tightly with plastic wrap)

Cake (frosted) can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days, cling-wrapped or in an air-tight container
