Don't worry — that's not an egg yolk wrapped in chocolate snowskin and lotus paste. It's our homage to the classic egg yolk in traditional mooncakes, but it's made with orange agar! Dark chocolate and orange go exceptionally well together, and these mooncakes are no exception. 

Along with that, is a refreshing, bright strawberry snowskin encasing a lychee white lotus paste filling. With the deep, dark flavour of the chocolate, we wanted something to contrast that, but provide a light, delightful taste to act as a palate cleanser. The snowskin is beautiful with speckled bits of red, with the lychee lotus paste providing a really vibrant flavour.

If you have your own measuring cylinder(s), and do NOT want to receive a measuring cylinder in your kit for environmental reasons, please feel free to submit a note at checkout, in the box titled: Note To Bakestarters. 

Remove cold ingredients from the bag and store in the refrigerator. Store Bakestarters bag in a cool, dark and dry area. Follow the expiry dates stated on the individual packs. The ingredients will be at least 4 weeks from expiry, so please select your preferred delivery dates accordingly.

Storage of finished goods will be stated in the individual physical recipe cards.
