These are not your regular cream puffs. These are light choux pastries filled with an absolutely decadent cookies & cream filling, then topped with a craquelin top that bakes into a fragrant and crisp biscuit topping that you'll not be able to get enough of. You can enjoy these puffs two ways - freshly baked with a smooth creamy filling that's filled with crushed Oreos, or freeze them to get ice cream puffs! So. Damn. Delicious. 

Cocoa cream puffs - similar to eclairs - are capped with circles of frozen sweet dough called craquelin, which bake up into a crunchy coating similar to crumble/streusel. The craquelin gives the puffs added texture, perfectly complementing the smooth, creamy filling. This kit is equipped with everything you need to bake these showstoppers up - piping tip & bags to fill the puffs and pipe the dough, a cookie cutter to get you those gorgeous crackly tops, and parchment papers for you to make the craquelin and bake the puffs!

    • Cold Ingredients (milk, butter, etc): Will be packed in insulated packaging with ice packs to keep them fresh. 

    • Dry Ingredients (flour, sugar, etc): Will be packed in airtight packs, in a Bakestarters box.

    Storage Information

    You do not have to bake your Bakestarters baking kit immediately upon delivery.

    Just follow the guidelines below and you're good to go!

    • Dry ingredients (flour, sugar, salt, baking powder etc) can be kept in a cool, dry and dark area for 1-3 months.
    • Cold ingredients (milk, yogurt, butter etc) can be refrigerated in their packaging.

      To ensure optimum freshness, it is recommended to use chilled butter two weeks from delivery. Frozen butter can be kept for ~2 months before use.

      Milk, yogurt, and cream should be used within one week from delivery. They should not be frozen.
