If we're being honest, cream puffs are one of our favourite things to make. Piping small mounds of choux pastry, watching them puff up in the oven like little pillows, and then filling them up with silky smooth pastry cream—something about this just feels oddly therapeutic and satisfying.

These cream puffs have light cocoa puffs stuffed full with bittersweet chocolate pastry cream, made using finest Belgian chocolate couverture for that added decadence, and a chocolate flavour that envelopes your taste buds. The touch of peppermint helps to balance things out, cleanse your palate, and makes these refreshing puffs the perfect ending to your Christmas dinner.

Finish off by generously sprinkling some snow-cocoa powder on top to give these adorable bite-sized puffs a true Christmas vibe!
