Our DIY mooncake kits are back! This year, we feature themed mooncake kits, where two complementary flavours are featured in each kit. Perfectly paired flavours means more variety, and infinitely more fun.

The theme of this kit is Tropical. The inspiration comes from Singapore, and The Land Of Smiles. These mooncakes provide a nice relief from Singapore's tropical weather.

In these Lychee Ruby Snowskin Mooncakes, the bouncy snow skin is lightly infused with fragrant scents of lychee, complementing the sweet and fruity notes of the ruby chocolate. Is it pretty? You bet.

With the Mango Coconut pairing, we took inspiration from the classic Thai Mango Sticky Rice. It's sweet with a nice contrast of slightly sour/tart dried mangoes. The coconut adds some crunch, and the overall flavours are nutty and fruity, perfect for Singapore's tropical weather.

Important Notes:

  • If you require a mooncake mold, purchase here
  • Delivery begins from 18th August 2021. These mooncake kits can be stored freshly up to 8 weeks, so you don't have to worry about getting it early!
This baking kit is rated easy.

Total time taken is ~2.5 - 3 hrs

Store Bakestarters box in a cool, dark, and dry area.

Cold Ingredients

Store cold ingredients in the refrigerator.

Recommended Storage Time

Dry/Box Ingredients

Keep fresh for up to 8 weeks in a cool, dry area away from direct heat or sunlight. You may store them in the fridge as well, but note that refrigeration will make your mooncake paste slightly greasier. It'll still remain good to use.

The kit does not need to be refrigerated.

Store freshly made mooncakes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
