Infusing Earl Grey tea leaves into our cake batter recipe gives it fruity, floral notes that shine through without drying the cake out.

The addition of dark chocolate couverture then adds a molten decadence and delight to these treats. This is one cake we can’t stop eating and baking!

This kit yields ~2x medium loaf cakes and takes about 1.5 hours to complete.

Every baking kit comes with all the ingredients you need (except eggs), already measured out, including butter.

We use premium quality ingredients so that you can enjoy commercial-quality products without having to purchase bulk ingredients expensively. 

To enjoy the full kit experience:

1. Set aside time to bake at your own pace. Plug in a playlist you like, and simply follow the recipe card provided and the tutorial video above to enjoy the therapeutic baking experience.

2. If you are a complete beginner, do not hesitate to reach out to us via school-support@bakestarters.com for any baking kit-related question! We'd love to help you out. Look at our kits as a school lesson, not just ingredients.

3. Share the results with your family and friends! One of the best things about baking is watching your loved ones enjoy them.

Due to fresh ingredients, such as cold butter, please select your own delivery date just before checkout. 

We deliver on Wednesdays and Saturdays, between 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Delivery Fees:

  • S$7.00 for orders below S$65.00.
  • S$3.50 for orders between S$65.00 to S$89.99
  • Free Shipping for orders from S$90.00 

All baking kits come with an ice pack to keep your cold ingredients cool. 

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your delivery, please kindly email us at general@bakestarters.com at least 2 days before your scheduled date. 

Please note that if your delivery arrives, and you can't receive it for the following reasons, there will be an additional shipping fee of S$12.00:

  • Incorrect address
  • Incomplete address
  • Inability to reach you (for example, condo security not allowing our delivery drivers in)

For storage:

  • Store cold ingredients in the refrigerator
  • Store all other ingredients in a cool, dark area away from sunlight
  • Expiry dates can be seen on individual ingredients (at least 2 weeks)

For packing:
