With molten chocolate chips inside and crunchy Californian walnuts on top, there’s something in these brownies that’ll prevent you from stopping at one slice. The earthy, mildly sweet flavour of walnuts perfectly complements the bittersweet fudgy brownies.
We tried eating these brownies both cold and warm from the oven and let’s just say, we couldn’t decide which version we like better. When the brownies are cold, the chocolate chips inside the brownie harden, adding that extra crunch and bite to the fudgy/cakey brownies. When the brownies are warm, the chocolate chips give a silky smooth burst of chocolate!
Our advice? Try it both ways for the best of both worlds.
