Here’s a confession before I get on to the process of freezing cookie dough - before joining Bakestarters, I’ve never actually frozen cookie dough before because I’ve always baked the complete batch. But when you have to test FIVE cookie dough recipes for a baking kit in a single day, you start to realise that no matter how much you enjoy baking cookies, sometimes you have to stop there and get them in the oven on another day.
Nutella Peanut Butter Cookie Dough
Freezing cookie dough is awesome. When we do our recipe testing, we generally have plenty of leftover dough, so we usually freeze it so we can bake it in future and give them away to our friends! It means you don't have to finish an entire batch of cookies, and it also means that you have freshly baked cookies on hand when you want to. It’s basically perfect for those impromptu Netflix nights with friends.
That means ten minutes for fresh cookies. It’s a good idea, yes?
You may store cookie dough in the freezer for up to 3 months.
