Delicate, balanced, and a little unexpected — Moonlit Harmony celebrates contrast in all the right ways. This set brings together two distinct flavour experiences: one warm and savoury with depth, the other fresh and gently floral.

Each kit includes everything pre-measured and ready to go, so you can focus on the fun part: crafting and tasting. A recipe card is provided along with tutorial videos to make sure that your mooncakes come out as good as they should.

About The Kit

This set features contrasting but complementary flavours:

Sweet Potato Snowskin with Black Pepper, Salt, & Sesame Lotus Paste leans in to a bold, savoury lotus paste — seasoned with black and white sesame seeds, nuts, salt, and a hint of black pepper. It’s complex, nutty, and surprisingly moreish — perfect for those who love a little edge with their sweetness.
Lychee Snowskin with Matcha & Cranberry Lotus Paste combines fragrant lychee snowskin with high quality matcha lotus paste, dotted with chewy dried cranberries. Light, slightly tart, and floral, this flavour is both refreshing and grounding — a delicate twist that plays beautifully.

This kit yields ~32x snowskin mooncakes and takes about 2 hours to complete. We recommend hosting a #mooncakeparty with with family and friends!

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your delivery, please kindly email us at general@bakestarters.com at least 2 days before your scheduled date.

Please note that if your delivery arrives, and you can't receive it for the following reasons, there will be an additional shipping fee of S$12.00:

Inability to reach you (for example, condo security not allowing our delivery drivers in)

Tasty recipes

This is my first time purchasing the mooncake kit. I liked how both the mooncakes tasted, the flavours were well balanced. However, the recipe was a little hard to follow and I may have added too much water, resulting in the dough to be too sticky. Perhaps providing two separate recipes would have been clearer to follow.

2 kits for 4 group activities!

We have made 2 out of 4 flavours so far. Both are amazing. Perfect for my group of friends who are new mothers who probably miss baking. Also great for my officemates as an after lunch activity. We managed to make Midnight (Oreo and strawberry agar) in office!
The yield is generous, the design is pretty and we all got a deeper appreciation for the tradition.

My friend told me she sent the site link and tutorial video of bakerstarters to those who asked about it in her story.

Moon(cakes) represent my heart

The Bakestarters Team was kind enough to accomodate my request for earlier delivery as I wanted to gift these made-in-Singapore starter kits to a friend returning to Scotland. There was a slight hiccup in the logistics which I am impressed with how the Team resolved it most efficiently. With the kits in hand, I was able to organise a gathering where we had fun making and enjoyed the delicious recipes. Keep the good work up and new flavours rolling in!
