In this kit, you will make:
1. ~18x Lychee Rose Cranberries — Lychee Rose is a classic flavour pairing. In these no-bake mooncakes, the bouncy snow skin is infused with fragrant scents of lychee, complementing the sweet and fruity notes of rose within the paste.
To add complexity and dimension to these delightful morsels, tangy and slightly chewy dried cranberries are chopped and added into the mix for visually and texturally appealing Mid-Autumn bites. [lychee snowskin with rose lotus paste w/ chopped dried cranberries]
2. ~18x Peach Mango Coconut — Taking inspiration from the classic Thai Mango Sticky Rice, tart dried mangoes are liberally mixed in with crunchy desiccated coconut. A very light, subtle peach flavour from freeze-dried peaches is then added to the snowskin to add a different layer visually. This is my 3rd year making mooncakes using Bakestarter kit with my friend. The process used to be smooth with the use of hardcopy recipe but this year, no hardcopy recipe was given in the kit and there were some typo on the tutorial video which made it difficult for us to follow. It would be good if you could resume the use of hardcopy recipe and/or send us a soft copy version via email if you like to be more environmental friendly.
Though we took longer than usual to finished making our mooncakes , they still taste good.
