In Tarts in Bloom, you’ll experience the art of modern tart-making through 3 live demonstrations, each exploring balance, flavour, and texture. All in the comfort of our cosy, theatre-inspired experience.

As aromas and voices fill the room, you’ll taste each creation, learn the craft behind them, and assemble your own fruit tart — guided by a professional pastry chef trained in Paris at Le Cordon Bleu. 

Following our 2 successful runs over July and August, we are back for a show on 8th November 2025, 1:00 p.m - 4:30 p.m, and we can't wait to help inspire your Christmas menu!

Zoey studied at the famed Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, before cutting her professional teeth as a chocolatier in Capella Hotel, and then running two successful cafes. This time, she'll be here to put her spin on our production, and share professional knowledge that hotel and commercial kitchens use that you can replicate at home.

You will receive a 100-page coursebook on tart fundamentals and recipes, an additional recipe book, a set of tart rings, an exclusive tart baking kit, and more.

What You Will Do

You will be seated in a theatre concept (free seating except for VIP seats), and watch a live masterclass. There will be interactive elements, such as tastings, plating, fruit assembly, and also a community post-show discussion. You will watch and learn:

  • Choosing right ingredients
  • Making premium fillings
  • Making a light, wonderfully flavorful pastry cream
  • Playing with recipe creation

The Coursebook

A 100-page coursebook will be given to each audience member.

We have packed and streamlined key education and the tips and tricks we have for making tarts in Singapore. It also features fundamental tart fillings, and four unique recipes.

Where and When Is The Masterclass Held?

The Masterclass will be hosted at 21 Bukit Batok Crescent. Confirmed attendees will receive the exact location via email or SMS.

The class will be held on 8th November 2025, Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

3 recipes will be demonstrated & taught live in the class, complete with tasting portions:

  2. No refunds will be given for no-shows. 

  3. No refunds will be given once your booking is confirmed. You may however pass your booking on to someone else, but prior notice will be required for us to register the new ticket holder that will be coming in your place. 

  4. Your booking is confirmed only when full payment has been received. 

  5. We reserve the right to cancel the class on our own discretion, in which case, we’ll do a full refund of tickets.

Please select your delivery date at checkout. Mooncake kits start delivering from 9th September 2025 onwards. Please note that we have limited delivery slots per day, so we encourage you to secure your slots early.

Delivery Fees:

  • S$7.00 for orders below S$65.00.
  • S$3.50 for orders between S$65.00 to S$89.99
  • Free Shipping for orders from S$90.00 

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your delivery, please kindly email us at general@bakestarters.com at least 2 days before your scheduled date. 

Please note that if your delivery arrives, and you can't receive it for the following reasons, there will be an additional shipping fee of S$12.00:

  • Incorrect address
  • Incomplete address
  • Inability to reach you (for example, condo security not allowing our delivery drivers in)
